What's In My Date (“the site”, whatsinmydate.com) is a small collection of date and time calculators. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: everything runs in your browser, and we don't operate a server that collects or stores your personal data.
What you enter
The dates you type (such as your birth date) are used only to compute results directly in your browser. They are never sent to us or to any server. To make things convenient, your birth date and your theme preference (light or dark) may be saved in your browser's local storage so the site can pre-fill them on your next visit. This data stays on your device and you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Cookies & tracking
The site does not set tracking cookies and does not run analytics that profile you. We don't build advertising profiles or sell data.
Third-party services
To display fonts and emoji, your browser loads a few files from third parties. When it does, those providers can see technical information such as your IP address, as with any web request:
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served by Google. See Google's privacy policy.
- OpenMoji / jsDelivr — emoji graphics are loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. See jsDelivr's privacy policy.
Advertising
The site currently shows no advertising. If advertising is added in the future, this page will be updated to describe it (including any advertising cookies and, for visitors in the EEA/UK, a consent choice).
Your choices
Because we store nothing about you on a server, there is no account to manage. You can clear the locally-saved date and theme at any time from your browser settings, or by using the “reset” control in the calculators. For any question about this policy, contact us at contact@whatsinmydate.com.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
Feedback
If you react to a calculator (the emoji buttons) or send an optional comment, we record that reaction — the calculator name, the emoji, the interface language, an optional comment and a timestamp — in a Google Sheet via Google Apps Script, so we can see which tools people enjoy. We don't collect your name, email or any identifier with it, and reactions are anonymous. Please don't include personal information in the comment field. This data is processed by Google; see Google's privacy policy.
